Autobotz is a research team on autonomous robotics created on 2012. The team is composed of Engineering undergraduate students from multiple areas and is led by Professor Guilherme Vianna Raffo from the Department of Electronic Engineering of the School of Engineering of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Institutionally, Autobotz is part of the MACRO research group focused on mechatronics, control and robotics.
The team aims to develop autonomous robots, from the mechanical and electronic project to the navigation, including computer vision, movement control and simulation. The robots are validated in robotics competitions such as the IEEE Open and the IEEE VSS Soccer.
If you would like to know more about us or have specific questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch through our contact page. You are also welcome to schedule a visit to our workshop at the Water Research and Water Resources Research Center (CPH).
Using robotic competitions as a guide, we work to learn and develop new methods to create awesome robots.
